Alex is a forward-thinking entrepreneur who has left a long-lasting mark on the Saint Louis community. As the pioneer of the Entrepreneurship program at the University of Missouri – Saint Louis, Alex has demonstrated a lifelong commitment to driving positive change and empowering future generations. Alongside his academic pursuits, he earned a second bachelor’s degree in Business Management, equipping himself with the knowledge and skills to navigate the intricate landscape of business ownership and management.
Driven by a passion for community impact, Alex’s journey led him to fall in love with Saint Louis and its vibrant community. Harnessing this passion, he embarked on a series of entrepreneurial ventures, each fueled by a desire to uplift and stabilize underserved areas of the city. With a background in commercial real estate, Alex’s contributions have been instrumental in fostering stability and revitalization in communities that have long grappled with uncertainty.
Prior to joining forces with The Product Plug’s team, Alex founded and helmed a successful product procurement company in the Saint Louis area, showcasing his prowess as a strategic leader and innovative thinker. His unwavering dedication to driving positive change and his entrepreneurial spirit continue to inspire those around him, shaping a legacy of resilience, innovation, and community empowerment. With several successful exits under his belt, Alex’s entrepreneurial and consulting endeavors have spanned the spectrum from start-ups to large corporations, focusing on sales, marketing, advertising, technology, software development, strategy, operations, manufacturing, sourcing, logistics, fundraising, real estate, healthcare, and emerging technology sectors like artificial intelligence, machine learning, virtual / augmented reality, geospatial, crypto, blockchain, NFTs, among others.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Alex is deeply committed to community improvement initiatives. He has played pivotal roles in organizing the Midwest Digital Marketing Conference, served on the board of directors and advisory board of TechSTL, and engaged in leadership positions with organizations focused on Mental Health, Neuro Diversity, Innovation, Education, Autism, and Down Syndrome advocacy. As a Community Leader within the Startup Ecosystem, Alex has fostered innovation and entrepreneurship in the community.
Throughout his career and personal life, Alex’s guiding principle has been Tikkun Olam, the Jewish concept of repairing the world. This ethos underscores his dedication to making a positive impact, both professionally and personally.
